Kananaskis Conservation Pass

“The Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for all vehicles parking in Kananaskis Country and the Bow Valley Corridor to support conservation efforts and maintain the area's natural beauty. Passes are available as day passes ($15 for personal vehicles) or annual passes ($90 for up to three vehicles), with different rates for commercial vehicles. The pass is not required for those merely passing through or for certain exempt groups, including Indigenous peoples and residents working in the area. Visitors can purchase passes online, at visitor centers, or by phone.

Funds from the pass contribute to trail maintenance, visitor services, and wildlife conservation in the region. Free access is offered on Wilderness Wednesdays (the first Wednesday of each month) and select holidays. For full details and to purchase a pass, visit the official Kananaskis Conservation Pass website.”
